Defending Women's Rights
Women's rights are under threat across the country.
In overturning Roe v. Wade, the United States Supreme Court effectively erased a half-century of progress that countless women had fought so hard to secure.
Never before has it been so important to elect Democratic judges to the bench at every level. The Illinois Court of Appeals is the second highest court in the state, and it hears some of the most important and complex cases in our court system.
In Illinois, a woman's right to choose is unambiguously the law of the land, and Illinois judges must base their rulings on the law as it is written.
The 3rd District is massive — encompassing 7 full counties:
-
DuPage County
-
Will County
-
Kankakee County
-
Grundy County
-
LaSalle County
-
Bureau County
-
Iroquois County
Beyond the rule of law alone, the thousands upon thousands of women who live in these counties deserve a judge who they know has a demonstrated record of defending women and their rights, and John Anderson is that judge.
